Return and Refund Policy

At Neutron Coffee Roasters, we stand behind the quality of our coffee and products. We’re a small, independent roaster based in Deep River, Ontario, and we take great care to ensure every order is roasted fresh and delivered with care. If you’re not satisfied, we’ll do our best to make it right.

1. Coffee Products (Non-Returnable)
Due to the perishable nature of coffee, we do not accept returns on any roasted coffee once it has left our facility.

However, if your coffee arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@neutroncoffee.com and we’ll work with you to resolve the issue. This may include a replacement, refund, or store credit at our discretion.

To process your claim quickly, we may request a photo of the packaging and product.

2. Merchandise and Equipment
Non-perishable items such as branded merchandise, apparel, or brewing equipment may be eligible for return or exchange if:

- The item is unused and in its original packaging  
- You contact us within 14 days of delivery  
- You provide proof of purchase  

To initiate a return, email us at info@neutroncoffee.com with your order number and reason for return. Once authorized, you’ll be given instructions for return shipping. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error on our part.

3. Refunds
If a refund is approved:

- It will be processed to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days.
- You’ll receive a confirmation once the refund has been issued.
- If the product was purchased with a gift card or store credit, the refund will be issued as store credit.

4. Lost or Delayed Orders
We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or customs. However, if your package appears lost, let us know within 14 days of your expected delivery date and we’ll do our best to assist.
