From the highlands of Costa Rica's Central Valley comes a coffee as exceptional in flavour as it is in purpose. This traceable specialty lot is produced through Café Mujeres en Libertad, a program launched by Coopelibertad in 2024 to empower women coffee producers across the Heredia region. Bringing together the harvests of women who are leading their farms and shaping the future of coffee, the program provides essential training, resources, and support to build long-term sustainability for their communities.

The Mujeres en Libertad program goes beyond sourcing; it provides direct support in agronomy, farm management, and financial literacy. It ensures that the premium paid for this coffee is reinvested directly into the participating farms, strengthening long-term productivity and sustainability. This is a coffee with a story of empowerment at its core.

Grown at high elevations primarily from Caturra and Catuai varieties and processed using the washed method, this coffee delivers a sweet, balanced, and clean cup profile. We taste distinct notes of cocoa, roasted nuts, and rich brown sugar, rounded out with a soft vanilla sweetness. A medium, juicy acidity adds brightness and balance, leading to a smooth, sweet finish.
